It is a 1-2 year old herbaceous plant with a height of 30-100 cm, angular body, sparsely hairy. Its leaves are pale green, with white veins, deeply toothed and thorny edges. It has purple and rarely white flowers. It grows widely in the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions. It is seen in roads and field edges and empty lands.
