About Honey

Turkey is among the world largest countries in terms of plant; there are around 12,000 plant species in all Europe, and Turkey gets almost 10,000 of those plants, which represents more than 80%. And many of these plants are natural and very capital for honey industry.

As we know, every country, or every region has its own identified honey plants. Agriculture is important for the development of animal husbandry. Leguminous feed plants are a powerful food for animals. By selecting a suitable land, such plants will be prepared by sowing nectar source and obtaining feed for animals, and that maybe valuable nectar and pollen source for bees. Forest trees are valuable nectar sources for linden, chestnut, and eucalyptus bees. And the major plants for Bees and honey industry are: Cotton, Sunflower, Red & White Clovers, Pine & Chestnut threes, etc….
