21 species of this plant are grown in Turkey. It is a perennial plant. The flowers are pink in color and very beautiful. It is possible to come across ragweed in green areas, forests and rocky areas with an altitude of 600-3000 m. It is found in Bursa, Ankara, Sinop, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Kars, Balikesir, Kütahya, Kayseri, Erzurum, Bitlis, Ağrı, Antalya, Van and Adana. The color of honey is light green. It turns white when it crystallizes. Honey has a very good taste and aroma. 600 kg of honey can be obtained from one hectare of fuel grass planted area.
